Basketball News

Basketball News, identifying who is hot and who isn’t, as well as DFS plays for Wednesday’s 10-game schedule. We’re nearly halfway through Week 5, and Tuesday’s major slate was exceptional. We’ll go over who’s hot, who’s not, and who to play in DFS on Wednesday.

Who’s the hottest?

Luca Doncic

On Tuesday the Basketball News, Luka Doncic’s domination against the Los Angeles Clippers continued. Against them, the Dallas Mavericks star has lifetime averages of 31.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 7.9 assists. In a game when his team only scored 103 points, he had a 35-point double-double with 11 rebounds and five assists to start Week 5. His pursuit of the top spot on this year’s fantasy leaderboard is still going exceptionally well.

Basketball News

Davis Terence

Davis wasn’t very hot prior to Tuesday, but his incredible performance in the Sacramento Kings’ rout of the Brooklyn Nets is noteworthy. The reserve guard scored 31 points in 26 minutes, adding nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals. He hit 12 of his 16 field goal tries and seven of his ten three-point attempts. More playing time might be on the way for him after filling in for Keegan Murray (back) in the second half on Tuesday.

Basketball News

Grant Jerami

Grant was the top player for the Portland Trail Blazers in their most recent victory against the San Antonio Spurs. In the game, he scored 27 points and collected eight rebounds. Grant has now scored at least 23 points in four consecutive games. Even when Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons are available, he has been able to excel on offense.

Basketball News

Who isn’t?

Jordan, DeAndre

The Los Angeles Clippers entered Week 5 with a back-to-back, and Zubac failed to make an impact on offense in both games. Over his previous two games, he’s averaging 6.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while taking just seven shots. Although Zubac is still averaging a double-double this season, reports of his team’s interest in Myles Turner have began to circulate. But I wouldn’t put too much stock in his current cold streak.

Basketball News

Nikola Jokic has entered health and safety regulations, which is the greatest fantasy basketball news of the week. The two-time MVP’s backup has been very inexpensive this season and might make his debut against the New York Knicks on Wednesday. Jordan averaged 4.9 points and 6.6 rebounds in 20 starts last season, and Denver will rely on him to defend the Knicks’ seven-footers around the basket. There’s not much danger in playing such a cheap guy in a starting position, so if the Nuggets don’t play small ball, I’d go with the chalk.
